The 2025 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum concluded with over 1,000 agreements valued at approximately 6.3 trillion rubles (around $80 billion), including more than 40 investment deals totaling over 1 trillion rubles ($13.1 billion).
Despite these significant agreements, the forum saw minimal participation from Western companies, reflecting ongoing geopolitical tensions and economic sanctions. Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the need for economic self-reliance and a unified industrial policy combining defense and civilian sectors.
The event hosted over 21,800 participants from 139 countries, with 92 countries confirming their intention to attend, marking a 5% increase over the previous year.
